Junior Blues

The Frankston Blues Club is the Representative arm of the Frankston & District Basketball Association. The Club fields teams from Under 12's to Under 20's for both girls and boys. In any year approximately 350 players represent the FDBA in the Victorian Metropolitan Junior Basketball League or in the prestigious Victorian Championships, the top level of junior basketball in Australia.

Along with the chance to be the best they can be on the court, the Frankston Blues Junior Club offers their players the opportunity to learn and develop certain personal and social values. These are:

Committment
Perserverance
Personal Responsibilities with the Group
Team Work
Respecting the Rules
Respecting Others
Learning to Compete

The Junior Blues Club is made up entirely of volunteers! Administrators, Coaches and Team Managers donate their expertise, time and effort for the betterment of the game of basketball in Frankston. The Club is extremely proud of the fact that all of our players are developed from and play in our domestic competitions, making us one of the few truly representative programs in the Melbourne area. The 36 teams that make up this Club, their coaches, team managers and parents are extremely proud of their involvement with, and contribution to, the game of basketball in Victoria.
